Who is Handwriting Examiner/Expert?

A forensic handwriting expert is also known as a forensic document examiner, handwriting analyst, handwriting examiner, graphologist, or questioned document examiner.

A handwriting expert’s role and responsibilities are primarily to detect whether a document has been forged or tampered with electronically or otherwise; determine authorship of written documents in the event of a dispute; and attempt to predict the writer’s mood from his/her handwriting, particularly when criminal offences are involved.
