Introduction
FACT (Forensic Aptitude and Caliber Test) and FACT Plus are All-India Tests that attempt to assess the overall aptitude and abilities of Postgraduate students in Forensic Science. FACT is a forensic science screening test that was launched in 2018 as a criterion for students pursuing degrees from various colleges. A candidate’s FACT qualification indicates their relative knowledge of forensic science and validates a minimal degree of expertise.
The National Forensic Science University (NFSU) is the country’s nodal institute for forensic science training and education. The supervision of FACT has been assigned to NFSU, Delhi Campus (LNJN NICFS) by the MHA.
The FACT qualification is designed to be used as a criterion for recruitment by FSLs and other similar organisations. The test will be conducted at two levels:
● FACT, which will assess candidates’ ability to analyse crime exhibits referred to in FSLs and interpret the results with basic training to assist in simple cases, and,
● FACT Plus, which will assess candidates’ ability to handle precision instruments and infer precise results.

Reminder:
Do Your Best, Give Your Best.
Exams cannot analyse your individuality, qualities, and Intellect just through a single paper produced by examiner. So remember this and always strive to accomplish what you can and want to do rather than what you have to do under stress. and this is or will not be the last time, so don’t worry if you couldn’t perform as you desired, you will be able to do so the next time. Do not lose faith in yourself. You are the only thing you’ve got.
Best Wishes.
