Forensic Expert/Director Exempted from court appearance

Answer: [B]293 of CrPC

Explanation: According to section 293 of CrPC, Where any such expert is summoned by the Court and is unable to appear in person, he may be, unless the Court has directed him to appear in person, depute any responsible working officer to appear in the court, if such officer interacts with the facts of the case and on his behalf can give satisfactory answers in the court.
